The Pacific Ocean Seashell exhibit contains various seashells from the Marshall Islands region of the Pacific. They are on display from July 2014 through March 2015 at the USCB Hilton Head Gateway Campus Library, courtesy of Richard Clapp, resident of Hilton Head Island. The collection also includes a few examples of coral, and several items made by Micronesian artisans that live on the islands. Richard collected the shells while scuba diving off the Kwajalein Atoll in the late 1960’s.
